new piece
so i lost the book with pachabel's canon. now i'm using the other book to learn fur elise, i can play the part everyone's heard pretty easily, but very slowly. the next section is a little confusing b/c i don't know what it sounds like so i don't know if i'm playing it correctly. i'm also having trouble remembering which notes are which. i'll probably just make fur elise my recital piece because it will take me that long to perfect it =(

Oh no! we should be able to find some version of pachabel's canon... even if it's not exactly the same! Fur elise is beautiful too, so either would be a perfect choice. We'll look at it this week!
